MOLOY MOLOY is a small brand creating distinctive handmade knitwear. 

Designed and crafted by the golden hands of an all-women team with an unique passion for knitwear, MOLOY MOLOY is combining traditional knitting techniques with experiment, hoping to inspire the act of embracing freedom of expression through unique statement pieces that are here for the long run.

Your pieces are designed by Vita Jon (Jončić), an interdisciplinary artist born In Zagreb in 1995. With a diploma in Textile design (School of Applied Arts and Design Zagreb, 2013), BA in Painting (Academy of Fine Arts Zagreb, 2017) and an MA in Film (University of the Arts London, London College of Communication, 2018), Vita approaches all of her work with childlike curiosity, always striving for a place of comfort, which led her to start MOLOY MOLOY in 2024.

Having family roots on the island of Vis, town of Komiža, Vita drew inspiration for the idea of MOLOY MOLOY through transforming the local Komižan saying moloj, which means let go. Translating the moment of feeling relaxed and safe in a good piece of knitwear, Vita hopes that all the future MOLOY MOLOY wearers will feel just the same when putting on their knit.

Last but not least, MOLOY MOLOY strives for sustainable and fair practices, which means your lifelong pieces are made with love by Emily, Lidija and Silvija in the UK, Croatia and Serbia.
